Context Based Coach Training

How would you like to elevate your Coaching Abilities and Toolkit to better support the constant changes that your organizational clients and team members are experiencing?

What would it mean to you if you could double or quadruple your current
value, offerings and returns – and those of your Coachee’s?

The problem with the Coaching world right now is, the “value” of Coaching  can be hard to translate into  KPI’s or OKR’s, whether you are a Leader taking a Coach approach with your team members – or you are an internal Coach for an organization.

Sadly, because this value is hard to translate, it is also hard to “keep” an internal Coaching program alive, or show causation for taking a Coach approach as a leader.  It does take time, and time isn’t something every organization has.

Yet, Coaching encourages individuals to think more critically, to explore different perspectives, to be more adaptive, to flex their resourcefulness and so much more. The pay-offs of these skills are huge for an organization. Especially organizations that do wish for self organizing, high performance, and well thought out results.

Unfortunately, in a 2023 report from Gartner their research had indicated that Coaching is not  a priority for organizations at this time.  Instead, the Top 5 HR priorities for 2023 are Leader and Manager Effectiveness,  Organizational Design and Change Management, Employee Experience, Recruiting, and Future of Work.

To this, we should ask – how can Coaching and the tangible benefits thereof be embedded into these priorities. What would that look like. Who leads this charge?

How do we transform this story and still give relevance to Coaching – or better yet, improve the criticality of Coaching in organizations?

That is where Context Based Coaching comes in.  If Coaches (and leaders taking a Coach Approach) are able to add to their toolkits more adaptive and scalable techniques, they may be able to transform the value they bring and make their services one that is considered critical to these Top 5 priority areas in their organizations.

Imagine a future where Coaching can do the following:

  • Show it’s ROI by measureably lifting Leader and Manager Effectiveness
  • Accelerate organizational change – and change acceptance
  • Improve the employee experience overall
  • Be positioned as a rare and unique value add for recruiters
  • And, make the future or work more effective – even in remote, hybrid, or return to office scenarios

What would your workplace look like with these improvements?

When Coaching (as a skill or a function of Leadership) is completely aligned with the needs of the business , it can produce remarkable results. Furthermore, the entire game changes when internal Coaching is helping an organizations “People Leaders” or heavy people / team influencers and their teams stay “ready” for change.

Context Based Coaching enables Leaders and Coaches to be:

  • Deeply aware of the problem spaces (context) organizational leaders and teams are facing
  • Able to shift focus (for self and others), respective of those problem spaces
  • Introducing tools, techniques, new facilitation skills for conversations, meetings, feedback etc. that match the context
  • Helping shift perspectives and deepen understanding of individuals, their experiences, and their diversities
  • Speed up an individuals movement through the change curve – onto commitment
  • Among many other complex benefits

Yes, this is all possible. And yes, that is a heavy claim. One that Untapped Goldmines is prepared to stand by.

Truth is, Coaching can accelerate change as well as change acceptance.
Especially for individuals and teams in complicated, complex or chaotic situations – including the current recession we find ourselves facing.
